A Hoop Time Story…

Since 2022, a group of boys from Hoop Time have attended a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) camp at Bethel University near St. Paul. This camp allows them to play basketball all day, but incorporates Bible Study through small groups and a theme for the camp. This year’s theme was Proven…John 15:8: “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”

I attend the camp as a coach and a support for the young men who attend Hoop Time. Each night, we had chapel around what it means to follow Jesus and be a disciple. We had multiple boys step forward to dedicate themselves to following Christ. Since returning, we’ve met multiple times at YFC to study the Bible and move forward in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus.

Would you please pray for this? Pray for these boys that they would continue to yield their lives to Jesus, and stay involved in Bible Study and seeking Him. Pray for me – that I have wisdom in how to support these young men and keep them connected so they can continue to be ministered to.
